Prompt: What grinds your gears and really annoys you?

Things that “grind my gears” and annoy me (I was confused about this saying and had to ask Aurora. She said it just means something that annoys, irritates, and/or makes you a little mad. I feel like it was redundant to have this saying and annoy in the prompt…):

1. Unnecessary information or redundancies in written questions, directions – both geographical and not, directives, documentation, and any other kind of instructional 
2. People being loud in libraries
3. When people fold pages in a book
4. Loud/overdramatic smacking
5. When people misuse magic
6. People who act like they know everything
7. Hypocrites
8. Self-centered/selfish people
9. People with big egos
10. The kinds of people Aurora refers to as “jocks” (I have always found those kinds of people annoying, but never had a term to label them with. I don’t really know what the word means, but it sounds similar to jerks so I think it fits.)
11. When people don’t respect nature
12. When people don’t respect other cultures and societies
13. When people don’t respect others
14. Peer pressure
15. People bullying and harassing others
16. People insulting or just being weird or creepy towards Aurora, Andrew, and Camilla
17. People making fun of Aurora for not knowing a lot about our world, how we act (mannerisms, manners, etiquette, and such), and how we dress
18. When people assume things about my partners and/or our dynamic

I think I went a little further than just annoyed or a little mad for some of these. A few of them can really piss me off…

Hello!

I enjoyed writing this and getting to learn some of Lux’s pet peeves and things that make them tick! To find the thing I think they find annoying, I took what I know of them and their personality, looked at the world and situations through that lens, and thought about how they would feel or react to those things. I have a hard time pinpointing and remembering my own pet peeves so I struggled to think of some of the smaller things that annoy them. Even though there are 18 things listed, I feel like there are still a lot more things that annoy Lux that I will learn down the road.
