The Sandy River Review is open for submissions!
We are now accepting submissions for our 2020 print anthology!
Produced in partnership with Alice James Books and the University of Maine at Farmington, The Sandy River Review is a nationally recognized literary journal that has produced annual and semi-annual print publications for more than 30 years.
The theme for this edition is the road; a symbol of freedom, new opportunities and sometimes homesickness or loneliness. A vehicle traveling on the road can be a catalyst for storytelling, intimate conversation, or perhaps a situation of terror. This theme is not mandatory—feel free to send us any of your best work!
You can view our submission guidelines page by clicking Here. Everyone who submits will know of their acceptance status by February 10th. Submissions will close on December 6th.
