My mother my sunshine

Between enclosed spaces

Her presence is what

Makes our building a home

Held my body for nine months

Held my soul for a lifetime

Through this journey called life

Her prayers deeper than the deepest oceans

Her love wider than the widest horizons

Through this journey called life

My mother my sunshine

Her divine smile

Immersing into the waves of time

Like a vibrant ray of hope

Altering every gloom with liveliness

Every pain with resilience

Illuminating my path

Through this journey called life

I look back and rejoice

I look forward and adore

The greatest boon

Through this journey called life.
