For the past two decades Mark and his family have made their home in the Upper Snake River Valley about 60 miles west of the Teton Mountain Range. When not observing the landscape of this region and creating poetry, he teaches writing and literature classes at Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho). A Pushcart Prize nominee, Mark’s poems have appeared in Aethlon, The Comstock Review, Iodine Poetry Journal, Natural Bridge, Windhover, and other journals. He is the author of two poetry collections: Psalm & Selah: a poetic journey through the Book of Mormon (Bentley Enterprises, 2009) and Forsythia (Aldrich Press, 2013).
