Margaret Lozier, 22, was born in Maine where she lived with her mother and stepfather on Lake Pemaquid for 21 years. She started writing poems for a school assignment and fell in love with the style. “Macbeth” by Shakespeare, “The Tell Tale Heart” by Edgar Allen Poe, and “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein were writing styles that inspired the storytelling aspect to her work. She now lives in North Carolina with her boyfriend, and has written about 30 poems total.
